![]() ![]() You basically make your own Stalker (pick your faction, starting point and so on) and then go from there with what seems like no direction, but if you've played the other STALKER games you'll know what characters you should talk to in general to get yourself started (or just talk to everyone, ask for info - even random patrols can give you good info). I treat it as a new game because it is its own thing that takes place years after ShoC (with references to Strelok having stopped the Brain Scorcher "years ago"), and is a combination of all 3 game maps with its own story, radiant quests and so on. Imo it's the best and most balanced Call of Chernobyl (more on CoC in the next paragraph) based standalone "game" of the series (Anomaly being a more balanced Call of Misery, which is Call of Chernobyl + Misery). As some said, Clear Sky isn't terrible (pretty decent actually) but it's the least stable and focused of the lot. ![]() OGs - Clear Sky > ShoC = CoP (for different reasons - CoP has the most refined gameplay in a better world and anomalies that make sense with the world + more replayability, with ShoC being a more linear story experience that has generally better atmosphere and a better story). ![]()
